Urgent INDIA Donation Appeal: Emergency COVID Critical Treatment Centre in South Gujarat
This is an initiative by Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, a United Nations recognised NGO with Special Consultative Status that has already served 5.35million lives through existing projects.
Thank you to all the beautiful hearts that have contributed financially and/or raised awareness for this desperate cause. Your generous donations have raised a record breaking £125k+ in just 36 hours! This means we are now able to secure the running costs for this new 50 bed facility for an entire month.
With demand growing as cases are increasing in these villages every day, the need for this facility has never been more urgent. With your big-hearted support, we are now in a position to increase our fundraising target to £250k in order to further cover the expansion and running costs of operating this critical COVID Health Centre for more months.

As the pandemic continues to rage on in India, there lies a desperate need for medical assistance in various rural and hard to reach areas of Gujarat. A new special COVID Health Centre has been set up in the Valsad District, South Gujarat in just 10 days to serve over hundreds of rural districts who have no other access to COVID care facilities.
The Health Centre opened on 25th April 2021 with 50 beds and complete facilities including ventilators, BiPap machines, high flow oxygen support, a CT scan machine and an ICU ward to support severe cases of COVID immediately.
Plans are already underway to expand the capacity to 100 beds due to the overwhelming need along with a ‘COVID Suspect Ward’ where extensive testing will be performed to provide early intervention and restrict further spread of the virus.
All treatment will be provided FREE of cost to those in need.
We urgently need funds to cover patient treatment costs and the daily running of this new COVID Health Centre.
